In every project we undertake, CPRT looks to establish long-term value and impact for its properties and the communities we serve.
Bringing economic health to a community development requires a great deal of expertise and a dedication to partnership and collaboration with all aspects of the community. These partnerships have brought forth the successful re-development of historic downtown Baton Rouge with the development of The Shaw Center for the Arts, the complete rebirth of the Hilton Capitol Center and the re-purposing of an abandoned old city dock area for The Water Campus, a research center dedicated to studying the effects – and creating solutions – for the critical issues of coastal protection and restoration.
Recently CPRT has embarked on even bigger projects. In North Carolina, CPRT designed and built 5401 North, a master-planned mixed-use community just north of Raleigh. CPRT is currently developing Kannapolis Crossing, a 318-acre master-planned community near Charlotte. In Downtown Baton Rouge, CPRT constructed a multi-use complex consisting of an office building for IBM’s Global Delivery Center and 525 Lafayette, a ten-story residential tower consisting of 85 luxury apartments.
